Of course, since it was the end of shooting, everything had to go wrong and the cable broke when we tried to do the one-and-only wire effect in the entire film, namely, the "pick-up-by-the-neck" move, in the best "Darth Vader" tradition.

So you can probably tell that I'm working pretty hard in that scene and we weren't able to do any long shots without the wire (my other arm is actually just off-camera, lifting up the other actor by the belt) but it worked out okay nonetheless.

Obviously, that's just one more advantage to having weightlifters in movies - you can still make the scene work even when the special effects don't...."
